The family of Junior Byles wants his fans to know that he does not have prostate cancer.
The “Curly Locks” reggae singer who has been ailing for some time is being treated for an illness that is not cancerous.
Midwest Reggae Radio understands that a charity concert for Junior Byles is being organized. Abijah, Eka Mouse, Lukie D, Paul Elliott, Nature, and Natty King are some of the entertainers lending their talent to the cause.
The charity concert to assist Junior Byles is slated to take place at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Center on February 9, 2019.
Meanwhile, Mutabaruka through Action Speaks Louder Than Words, a charitable organization based in Europe has been assisting with Junior Byles Health Care.
Muta is currently working closely with his family to offset his medical cost.
In July this year, Junior Byles entered the Billboard chart for the first time in his more than 50-year career when the reissue of his 1986 album, Rasta No Pickpocket, debuted at number 17 with first-week sales of 36 copies.
