Brimming with Christopher Martin fans, Guangos in Savanna-la-Mar was recently the site of great vibes and sweet live reggae music, courtesy of Appleton Estate Signature Nights. Patrons sipped golden Appleton Estate Signature Blend cocktails as they eagerly awaited the headlining act.
Preparing patrons for a night well-spent, D Major was first to the stage. He delivered well-known hit songs, including Real Know Real and Vibes, as well as other favourites like Girl Of My Dream and Deal is Done. Audience members slowly inched closer to the stage in anticipation for Christopher Martin.
Patrons were kept waiting as Busy Signal came and delivered a surprise but well received cameo performance. He added to the evening’s excitement with songs such as Night Shift, One Way, and Stay So.
Opening the set with the single Mama, Christopher Martin emerged to the stage and soulfully performed the lyrics, much to the delight of those in attendance. The soulster then delivered the title song of his debut album Big Deal. Backed by Jamdonz, the singer continued with Cheater’s Prayer and Loving Pauper, to which patrons sang along.
He introduced to audience to material including Bun Fi Bun and Life. Both singles were well received by the live music lovers who journeyed to Guangos to see the artiste on the Appleton Estate Signature Nights Stage.
The next staging of Appleton Estate Signature Nights promises to be an equally thrilling one, with Konshens set to lead the night on October 18, at Sky Dweller Ultra Lounge in Kingston.
